In honor of the Dear Mushka Fall Line, here’s a real glimpse into how I use these new Fall pieces on an average day. Each piece is created with the intention that they act as an encouragement and inspiration for you to live from God’s word and share His message with those around you.
Watch my Instagram highlight here to see how I’ve styled these Fall accessories!
The Nearness Earrings
"Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded." James 4:8
I couldn’t love the Nearness Earrings more! They’re lightweight and breezy even though they’re a little bigger than our normal style. The ‘U’ shape reminds us that meeting with God requires an effort on both sides. We have to go to Him. The beauty is that we can only do this by God’s power. He equips us to draw near to Him!
The Adorn Hair Tie
Today I put my hair up into an easy bun and fastened it with an Adorn Hair Tie. They come in black, red, green and navy. Take the tie part off, leave the tie long, or tie into a bow. I took the ribbon part off and added it to my purse for a little something extra - I’ll leave it there all season! This versatile hair tie is a truly happy pop of Fall.
This Christian inspired accessory comes with a verse from 1 Peter 3:4, "Let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God's sight is very precious."
"Blessed is the one ...whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night. That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither—whatever they do prospers." Psalm 1:1-3
Psalm 1 roots all the others Psalms, and this is what I think about when I spend time with God each morning. We need to plant our roots deep!
My prayer for you and all these pieces is that you meditate on God’s words as you put each jewelry piece on. Hang the verse card up and learn it! Take God’s words with you during your day. Let them encourage your own soul and others as they flow off your tongue.
As I put these pieces on today, I said the verses and prayed that God would use these truths. Let’s go out feeling equipped to tackle this day in Jesus’ name through His words.
