The earrings are paired with a special verse from 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God".

These words from 2 Corinthians inspired the design of the earrings to be of two teardrops. As we experience suffering and walk through difficult seasons, God meets us in our troubles and our tears.

He draws near to us when we cry out to Him. Because we experience his comfort, we learn to draw near to others in their times of distress.
